I fell in love with the lines of this car and so, went on the net to get the model number and some figures and any info I could. I've found many photos of the car from around the globe on various web sites, but no one seems to give out any information or numbers. Is this a concept car, not actually on the market yet? PJ
 
It's the new Alfa 8C Competizione, and it either has gone into, or will shortly be, in production. EVO magazine reported that it was supposed to spearhead Alfa's return to the U.S. market, but I've not heard anything else about that.

Best looking newish car I've seen in years and they managed to put a perfect color on it. Fwiw, I like it better than the Montreal, which has always looked to me like Bertone joined with a venetian blind manufacturer in a styling exercise.

I don't DISLIKE the new design, quite the contrary. But it'd be a "box-O-tricks" to deal with if/when it malfunctions. I'd have to send myself back to Alfa Romeo Training!! Too old fer that now. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Well Doc, I don't think there will be a bunch of them running around our neighborhoods at a state side price of around 200 Gs. I knew I had expensive tastes, but that's a little ridicules. It will have a Maserati 444 hp V8 in it. That's probably half the price of the car. Oh, to be blessed with tons of money.

I like it, but what's with those taillights?!
Thay look like thay were robbed off a garbage truck or a city bus.

I also think a lot more thought could have been put in to the tail light design. But, good grief, for 200 Gs, what do you expect? You can't have everything.
