Just added up my gasoline bill.

Ouch. $300 in gas for the truck and $35 for the midget. Can't wait till that bill comes in with the hotel and all added on. I would do it again in a heartbeat in a couple years. Good news is that I got 21mpg towing and 38mpg running the midget around there, that even includes a bit of fast idle not going anywhere time charging and starting Jeff Kelly's battery in the hotel parking lot after his ignition left on episode.

Never, ever, do that!! I'd hate to think what I spent on my truck's gas - that big 5.9L V8 pulling my Midget 1,000 miles each way!!

Ha - Kim, if it makes you feel better, I do 50% highway, 50% city on my daily drive. My 2007 Liberty gets about 17 mpg with the A/C off, 16 with it on.

So, your Ranger, towing a Midget and trailer, did better than my Liberty unloaded!

Yeah, but its weak. I have to gear down and can only hold 55 on most hills with the air on, then back up to 70 downhills and on the flats. I can do better after dark without the A/C like last night. But yeah its not too bad. has a 20 gallon tank so I could go near 400 miles before a fill up. I wasn't worrying about running out as I had an extra 7 gallon reserve on the trailer :wink:
