Just a short intro.: I have always owned a British car & perhaps will have at least one until the day I die. Currently own the following:

(1) '72 Triumph TR6
(1) Daimler 2.5 ltre V8 saloon
(1) Jaguar MkII 3.8 litre saloon (now for sale)
(1) Sunbeam Alpine S5
(1) 1980 MGB LE
several MGB GT models (some for sale)
(1) Hillman Minx S3 convertible
(1) Singer Gazelle convertible (now for sale)
(1) Hillman Californian Mk2 coupe
(1) Triumph Stag with 4spd w/overdrive
(1) Jaguar XJS coupe (now for sale)
(1) Morris Minor 1000 coupe
several MG Midgets
(1) Austin Gipsy pickup truck
(2) LandRover Discovery I SUVs

Been out of work since 2006 (guess they don't need 50+ old accountants anymore), so had to sell some of my collection & bits to keep the wolves away from my door. I do most of my work on my cars; I figure I had two choices: either pay somebody to screw-up my car or screw it up myself and learn along the way. Well, that's all for now. And NO, the Healeys are NOT for sale....don't ask.

Hi Tony,

(1st) "Welcome" to the BCF. You`ll be amongst many LBC lovers here so; Your "Collection & Yourself", (Quite Extrodinary), will fit in here just nicely. You can pick someones brains for advice & or "Give" the same.

(2nd) As far as getting a "Good" job these days when your over 50; Is not the easiest thing in the world. They say there is "No Age Discrimination" in the workforce but I`m living proof that there is.

Anyways; Have fun here & Personally I`d like to hear more about your `72TR6. Cond. Pics & If its For Sale or not. You can either PM or Email myself (Email is best for Pics).

Thanx and Regards,

Russ

Hi Tony, and welcome to the Forum! :savewave: That's quite a collection you have! You'll find that there's a lot of info here, as well as a ton of really nice folks. And, a number of us are over 50 or 60, and learning about the job market.

Larry

Welcome, Tony!

Where have ya BEEN?!?! With that list you'd seem to be a natural fit around here. We have a loose confederation we could call "The Old Farts Club" here.
You're in good company.
