I'm installing a alternator with the thin belt kit from Moss. My engine is not here yet. Ted at TSI said it was shipped today. I want to order a alternator adjuster from march. Does anyone know the length from the top bolt to the alternator bolt. I have a couple of choices in adjusters..1. 6.375 to 7.8 inches or 7.5 to 9 inches. I would like to have it here as we are planning to put the motor in next weekend.. Does anyone with the small belt conversion with a delco alternator know the length of the adjuster??

Roy, you may have to buy them both and send one back. These things never are predictable.

Sure beats having ordered the wrong one and have to wait another week.
