OK...performing my usual pursuit of where to spend my next hard earned dollars...my eye wandered off to a driver versus collector car. The 2000+ XJS appears to an elegantly fashioned auto for at the date of engineering
seems 10 years ahead of the market...notable builders
otherwise know as MBZ seems to HAVE likened to the front headlight design as well in their current years.

Questions to those members who have endevoured down this
path of model....For the stature of the car the trading dollars seem very low in comparison to other cars of it's peer. While it is a RWD it does offer traction control for our midwest winters....what about the longevity...shouldn't
a 90,000 miler be up to another 90,000 without much upkeep....and it does come in a 6 cyc version for petro
minded conservatives....ANY INPUT APPRECIATED...

The later model that you are considering was indeed available with the 4.0 litre six. With proper care and maintenance, one of these if properly taken care of in the past should be good for some pretty decent mileages.

I know a guy with a modern 'S'-Type with over 250,000 on it, and the transmission has just started to slip.....
