True, but that was applied to everything that they made, not just the Cortina /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
 
The thing was surprisingly quick. It was the Daily Driver Herself used for a number of years. She explained at some point she realised what she was driving when as she'd pull away from stoplights all the OTHER cars would seem to be lagging behind her...

She does have a bit of a lead foot and the T/C Cortina was suited to the task. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

I really miss that car...
