Julian, noticed this GT6 today. It may be worth a look,

Jeff: many thanks! I'm going for a TR6. The GT6s are great, but I decided I wanted a soft-top. There were a couple of Spit GT6 conversions that fitted the bill, and look great, but they are rarer even than GT6s.

I'm now starting to accumulate parts I know I need for the '71 (actually it could be '70) TR6 I've found.

The trouble is, I've lost contact with the seller! I know he was on vacation for a while, but he should be back now, and I was wanting to arrange the transport of the car.

Aaargh!!!

I think Julian has passed the looking for cars stage. He's in the "looking for parts stage" now.

Julian, Put up a list of what you need in case some of us come accross anything.

I already sourced the side fender lights I needed. I have a long-ish list of other needed parts, some of which I'll simply buy new (like interior panels, transmission tunnel cover, carpet, soft top), but others I'm looking for used.

The most notable parts in that set are:

1) the centre console
2) gearstick (current one is extended and too long)
3) right hand under dash crash pad
4) inside and outside door handles
5) window winders

I'm having a dense moment here: what does the comment mean? Closing time as in when the pubs close?
