TR6 joining the inner and outer sills on a TR6?

Is there any trick to putting these together?

I have gathered that you weld the inner sill to the floorboard. I am stuck on attaching the outer sill.

Do you attach it to the inner sill along the top and then somehow squeeze it up to fit along the bottom? And then slip the whole thing into the body?

Thanks again,

Jack

I used cleco's to hold the top of the sill while I fudged with the alignment of bottom of the sill. I ended up using three bottle jacks to lift the bottom of the sill where I wanted it then welded the bottom. I then proceeded to the top as I removed each cleco. The sill tended to compress better when putting pressure on the bottom rather than the top.
