Hi all
Just joined as I have found some interesting stuff on the forum and realized that I am not the only one who struggles with the complexity of the British engine!
I am an ex-pat who retired to good ol' USA and soon was lured back to British cars.I currently am re-commissioning a 1962 Triumph TR3B that had been stood
for some considerable time and plan to get it up and running for spring time so that I can drive to Brit shows and maybe talk to some other UK escapees.

Hi John, welcome to the asylum!

Good luck with the project. There is an amazing number of things that go wrong with these old cars, just with the passage of time. In particular, you'll want to replace the fuel pump diaphragm and all other "rubber" bits in the fuel system, as what they sell for petrol around here will eat the old British rubber (even if it hasn't fallen apart due to age).

Here's a few documents that you might find helpful (or not)

I recommend you download a copy of anything that you find useful; but I'm working on a major update of the TR3 workshop manual so check back in a few months. And of course please let me know if you find any problems.
