Hey Maxwedge5281
That is great as it's a great car ! Plus you're bringing it down the South Carolina which is even better. Maybe see you at one of the SC shows, perhaps British Car Club of Charleston's big show in late October or next year's show in Columbia.
Regards
Mike
Beaufort, SC
Congrats.....I hear it is a great car. You certainly do need to bring it down to Mount Pleasant this October for the British Car Club of Charleston show.
went to new jersey his weekend and picked up the healey. unfortunately we pulled the muffler loose and had to remove the rest of the system from the muffler back! it tore the stainless flex tubing loose on my of the headpipes! i plan of replacing just the 9 inch stainless 2 inch tubing....anyone know where i can purchase just a small section of tubing to weld back in place??? thanks to john for all his help!!
After being retired for three years, last year I took a part time job at Costco for something to do. I'm currently working at the Costco gas station in Frederick, Md. Last Saturday I drove my 100-6 to work, and parked it at the station. It was like an all day long one car show. I was off Sunday, and when I came in to work on Monday everyone was telling me about a red and white Healey on a trailer that stopped for gas on Sunday! Was it you? What are the odds of two Healeys in two days there!
Wow, we missed each other by a day! Everyone was telling me what a great looking car you have it gets even more coincidental, we live right in the middle of the new market historic district...
got all the chrome polished. it is amazing how well the long ago chrome holds up and shines up! deep lustrous shine. the interior cleaned up really well and i will do the vinyl tomorrow!
Looking really nice, Larry. Now that you have an I6 and a V8 Healey, can a four cylinder be far behind? And don't get started on the Sprites or you'll be adding more to the collection.
The Healey is looking great, and I like the EB in the background. I miss mine. It was too nice to run through Cleveland winters, so it got replaced with a Tacoma...boring.
