John Gott Memorial Trophy Race - Photos

Saturday at Castle Combe racetrack saw some tremedous classic racing including the John Gott Trophy for Austin Healeys. John was a Works Rally driver in the late 50s and early 60s.

20 of Europe's fastest Healeys were on the grid. The race was won by Anders Schildt from Sweden. He started 4th but was first by the end of the first lap.

Great drivers, great cars including the only surviving Works Rally 100-Six, TON 792, which led the cars on their parade lap. See a photo of John Chatham leaning on the car, plus lots of others of the race and the paddock at:
