The February edition of Hemmings Sports and Exotic Car magazine has a very nice layout on John Esposito and his business, Quantum Mechanics. John is a good guy and does nice work on trannies.

I've purchased stuff from Mr. Esposito and was treated more than fairly by him when I had a problem with the product.

My hat's off to him and others like him. It's often hard, dirty work to be a successful mechanic, but obviously, the rewards can be great.

I'll bet there's a really interesting success story behind John Esposito. I'd like to hear it someday.

He's one terrific guy that really knows his stuff. He has been down to Long Island on two occasions to give presentations to our Triumph club. He was very thorough and professional and answered all of our dumb questions in a way we could understand. He showed us the weak points in the various trannys, and how best to keep them alive. He's so dedicated to keeping these cars on the road (and his business alive), he has internal parts made for him that are no longer available from the usual sources so he can keep on rebuilding these seemingly self-destructive gearboxes. Many of the parts he's having made are for the OD units, as very few parts for those are available.

There aren't many guys left like this to provide the services that he does. It's good that he's around.

I have purchased parts from John, and have recommended him to a number of people. He has always been very helpful with advice when needed and has, or can find the parts that are "impossible" to get!!
