May he rest in peace! Not a flawless President, but should be remembered as a good man who gave his efforts in later life to help humanity.

Keeping politics out of this, but I will say I respected him as a decent, good man who served his country throughout his life. His work with Habitat for Humanity was especially notable.

Great man: humble and a servant to the world. Not many like him; he took his "star-power" as an ex-president and worked hard to make the world a better place for all.

A friend tried some of that back in the day, swirled it around his mouth, spit it out, and said "I think the horse has diabetes".

Saw Carter on tv several years ago and he said his last ambition was to eradicate the guinea worm before he died. He almost got it. I think the world was down to 17 cases last year.

And Carter spent his post president years living in a two bedroom home where he'd been before being elected. Most would happily upgrade to a mansion of some sort. Says a lot, along with doing Sunday School every week while able, about a person's values.
