Still getting the "bugs" out of my 65 3000. I got the car up to speed and when shifting into 3rd. the car jerked to the right. 2nd to 3rd shift is most noticable. I reviewed a past post, and I have replaced the front/rear bushings at the transmission. Checked transmission mounts. Motor mounts seem OK, however I plan on jacking up the motor to see if any splits in the mounts show up. The rear leaf springs and hardware seem tight and OK. This car did sit garaged some 20 years before I found it......all ideas welcomed :eeek:

Phase 2's radius rod bushings can wear &cause "launching" to right. Had to replace them on my '67 MK3, fixed the problem. cheers Genos2

Oh the car...I thought you were refering to someone in the passenger seat
