Thats neat. I'll bet that cage stiffens it up a lot. They need it in my opinion.

The flimsey flexy feel of those cars (to me at least) is what has kept me out of them. I want to like them, but when I drive one, the cowl shake and general chassis flex turns me off.

You haven't driven mine! I don't get any chassis flex (flimsey flexy feel) or cowl shake that I can feel. I do have a five point roll bar (not a cage though) I had it raised 4" and added a forward support bar, FIA style. I get very little body roll or other undesirable effects. If you'd like to see photos I'll try to post.
