Jensen Healey Interceptor????

Re the Jensens: Most folks seem to like their appearance. I don't want to seem contrary, but am I the only one who thinks many of the Jenson models look like they've been worked over by a kid with a PepBoys gift certificate? Specifically, the headlights and various fussy body details?

Headlights might be a bit odd but the profile on the gray car above is just beautiful!!! Cover those headlights with clear plastic and they would not be too far off some of today's cars.

I've always thought most Jensens look like someone drove 'em into an ugly tree. But I do think the convertibles look nice, since they don't have the fishbowl rear window.

Hmmm...

This whole thread has my head working overtime, I think a great topic would be an article about the history of Jensen. Check back in awhile...

A fine gentleman by the name of Richard Calver has made it his personal crusade to document the history of the Jensen marque.

His website is most impressive: https://www.users.bigpond.com/tfmuch/

PC.

FYI - Audi 'borrowed' the 4 wheel drive layout from Jensen for their Quattro cars, but unlike Jensen were able to sell enough to keep them in business!
