Jensen Healey Found

Greetings All,

While wandering my local junkyard today, I came across a Jensen Healey (no model designation, but it is a roadster), a 74 from what the sticker on it says. It has the Lotus engine, dual SU carbs, etc.

The reason I am posting, is if anyone out there is looking for parts (not body stuff, the car is rusted to death), I can have a look and see if what you need is there.

Actually, they never came with SUs, but the Strombergs would look similar to a quick glance.

The engine and gearbox are worth saving.

I imagine that you are right. The engine may be shot, as the timing belt appears to be broken. The car looks like it sat outside for far too long, but since the top is intact, I will see if I can get the transmission to move next time I am out there.

Hehe, does it have a set of # tags and a clean title? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

1965 MGB, what yard would that be in? I am also in the area and know most of the yards! I can also check it out! (I LOVE to go junk-yarding!!! a great way to spend an afternoon especially when you find "treasures"!!)

The yard is in WPB, on Benoist Farms Road. I think the new name of the yard is U-Pull&Pay or some such silliness. It has been kind of light in the britcar stuff (excluding the ever present rusted out XJ-6's).
