Was I dreaming or did I read somewhere that someone was planning on resurecting the Jensen name?

I though they just failed recently. Surely they would try again so soon?

This website here is for the 1998/2000 Jensen S-V8... www.s-v8.com

Don't know if that's what you're thinking of, this car died before it was mass-produced. According to the above website, 20 were actually made before things wound up.

Another little known fact... in the mid-1980's (long after the last Interceptor was built in 1976) the Jensen built a small number of complete Interceptors for customers. After 1976 the factory was kept open for parts support and some other projects, and it was this enterprise that made these 1980's Interceptors using the exact same bodyshell as the earlier cars.

In the 1989 version of The Saint television series Simon Templar drove one of those "new" Jensen Interceptors.

PC.

The front end looks like a modern interpretation of a Healey 100.
