Hey,
Ordered the new front plate for the tranny with the machined seal. Looks great!! Got her yesterday. Yanked the hood today, motor and transmission and got her all cleaned and ready for the swap. Gasket sealer on and gasket in place..... new cover does not fit!! Argggg. The bolt pattern is wrong. With everything ready to go and I believe the leak to actually be coming from improper installation of the gasket, I went ahead and installed the old cover with sealer and dropped the motor back in. Got to give Mini Mania a call Monday and return the blasted thing. Any idea as to why the bolt pattern would be diff? I acted as if it were going on perfectly and, I believe, two holes were in the wrong spot.

No drill at your house?

Dog gone, if I didn't order the wrong one! Oh well. Hopefully the gasket fixes the problem.
