JCNA Photos As Promised

Good Day all. I have just gotten all of my photos from the JCNA event at Indy up on a web link JCNA Indy Photos from The Driven Man. There are a lot of high resolution photos to enjoy.

The show featured over 100 Jaguars from Pre-War models all the way up through the current Jaguar offerings, which is a giant gathering here in the States.

The parties, meals and award banquet were held at Union Station, a beautiful train station that has since been retired but has all of the charm of the oldest buildings in America.

It was also quite a treat to see and hear the comments of famous British drive Brian Redman, who regaled us with all kinds of racing stories from his checkered past.

Auto highlights included:
An original D-type
An original XKSS sitting next to the D-type (see photo)
A wonderful 3.5litre Pre-war car
A fully documented Euro-spec 2.8litre XJ6 with a manual transmission, imported by current owner from Italy to the U.S.
The Driven Man 6-Speed 6.0 XJS (shameless plug)

You all know I am a relative novice, being an American Muscle Car nut, but I sure can appreciate the cars at that we saw at this show, and the owners were top notch too. Lot's of everything Jaguar, take a look and please give feedback.

Thank you, very nice. I enjoyed all of them! I know a guy here in Wisconsin with both an XKSS and a shortnose D-Dtype, not to mention E-Type, a Graber-body something, plus a number of other beauties.......

My pleasure. I hope everyone on the forum gets to enjoy them as I greatly enjoyed taking them with forum members in mind.

I was especially pleased with your photos as JCNA's reporting of this event was very sketchy - at least in the photo department. By the way, how did you do in the Slalom? I assume the white XJS is yours.

Gray,

Very nice photos, you could have made a quick stop here in Columbus on the way, though, re-wired my ignition and had me follow you on to the event.......
Actually, I missed this totally until I saw your post asking if anyone was planning to attend. Of course it was already over by the time I caught your post. Thanks for sharing and hopefully next year we'll be able to meet up in Indy.

What great Pics!

Thanx for sharing: Wish I could`ve been there even as a spectator!

Personal love affair with the E-Type Rdstrs: Had a `57 XK140Rdstr (1st. Jag); `62; `67 & `69 E-Types: Love them to death! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/driving.gif

Thanx Again;

Regards, Russ /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif
