Wow, I hadn't even caught that, good eye Tony. Yep, those are 65 or 66 Stang tailights. Thats a really pretty car, I especially like the one in that magazine ad, with the scooped hood.

You could also fit Corvair taillights. That's what was on the original GT-40's.

I know who this guy is. He's got more than interesting old kit cars. He's got a freaking gold mine. I used to live 5 blocks from him and would see high $$$ closed transport trailers showing up always after dark and get peeks at very shiny, very exclusive, very sexy, usually red, rare 50's racing iron being loaded and unloaded. Keeps it really really low key.
