Those old Mustang taillights would have to go thogh...maybe replace 'em with a set of round BMW 2002 lights

I bet you could throw a Maserati trident on the front grille and a biturbo engine in it and nobody would be the wiser.

Wow, I hadn't even caught that, good eye Tony. Yep, those are 65 or 66 Stang tailights. Thats a really pretty car, I especially like the one in that magazine ad, with the scooped hood.

Why would ford use GM parts?

Actually, Scott, I can't take credit for that...Mickey pointed them out to me on the phone the other day...I was commenting on how ugly they were & he identified them!

Russ...the guy in IL has several interesting old kit cars for sale on eBay...I'm watching!

I know who this guy is. He's got more than interesting old kit cars. He's got a freaking gold mine. I used to live 5 blocks from him and would see high $$$ closed transport trailers showing up always after dark and get peeks at very shiny, very exclusive, very sexy, usually red, rare 50's racing iron being loaded and unloaded. Keeps it really really low key.

Jim,

Maybe you coul talk to him and have him post a list here. I for one, will always take on the right project. It's one of my flaws my wife is so fond of...........not!
