Well, she did say that her B with SUs almost got out from underneath her; I'd be afraid that engine would throw her out of the car!
 
Nope, no turbochargers for this girl. 3 strikes you're out (in IL in a year) and I don't like speeding tickets nor the cops that dish them out!

Yes, I have to agree. I see a lot of potential problems too. But regarding the “pinging” - it kind of sounds as if the seller/builder did some homework, as he said he put in +40, 7:1 pistons.

But you bring up my first concern fit especially around the brake booster as you pointed out. Another concern would be if he ever had it working & driving his B with this setup and what kind of performance numbers he had with this? I kind of get the feeling it was never completed. Because if it was you’d think it’d be a pretty cool & original setup, that would certainly draw a crowd at a show & shine. If I was interested I’d like to see more pictures of the completed project before I put in a serious bid.
 
So, Janel, you gonna tell us how many or do we just assume its 29 again? hehehehe
 
I don't think even the 7:1 pistons would help the pinging/overheating since there isn't an intercooler of any type. I've seen Turbo'd Ford escorts where they had a direct line from the turbo to the intake like this, and they were all very problematic from the very hot air going into the engine.
