If you ever get arrested in our town here...don't worry..chances are you can leave whenever you want. Two nites ago was the topper. Eight inmates simply crawled into the ceiling, shimmied up a pipe, hacked thru the roof using tools they made while sitting around, jumped onto a pine tree that was up against the building(DUH) and hopped the two stories to freedom. Not bad guys...just a convicted killer of a ten year old by..and sentenced in July to life in prison...awaiting transport that our court failed to file the order on till a few days ago..and the bum got wind of it. Another one is an accused killer of a local businessman...real jewel of a guy. Mother in Texas said if she heard from her baby she's advice him to go back as cops tend to be mean and shot and people...poor baby. The rest are commom everyday thugs..one inside for extreme cruelty to animals. I think our warden...Leslie Johnson...needs a new career path. The last one to escape was a woman..in July duckwalked out the door hiding behind a food cart..stood up, ran into the street and was arrested by a passing motorist..actually hit her and knocked her senseless untill the jailers could nab her. Earlier in the year (Someone) left a side door open and a couple of guys went for a walk..and then all the jailers that have been arrested this year for bringing in drugs for the inmates!!! yes sir..we have a full service jail...come on down for a visit.
 
And when does the female inmate file suit against the driver that hit her for bodily injury, pain, suffering, loss of income, etc. etc.? You KNOW it's gonna happen.....
 
Thats so funny....we were saying the exact thing yesterday. A even stranger thing happened in this jail a few years back...a female inmate, long history of drugs, violence..you name it, was arrested, searched and tossed into a cell. Later she complained of being sick. By the time the meat wagon got her to the hospital she had coded. Apparently she ingested a large amount of dope...and she was toast. family sued...and friggin won a large amount of cash. That enabled the rest of her siblings, also bad actors and serious drug users and dealers to buy better drug..blew thru the sellement in a very short time...most ended up in jail. On this last escape, five including the worst...killers...are still on the loose. Feds...US Marshalls...every law enforcement agaency available is in the area. Most have more than likely headed to Mexico..the others who knows.
 
Update....yesterday the father of the convicted killer was arrested for his part in the escape. He's also a thug....street name Lo-Lo...real jewel. And the gal pal of the other convicted killer was arrested here in town for helping out. Then they arrested four inmates for aiding and there are suspicions gaurds may have been involved. What a mess. Keystone Kops have nothing on these jokers.
 
This made it to the pages of Newsday here on Long Island. Nice bunch a people these convicts are. Real sweeties.
 
The beat goes on...one more bad guy nabbed in Albuquerque on thursday ...went with a wimper. Original charges were ag. assault...now tap on escape etc. Worst four still wandering around. Mother of one arrested yesterday after it was found out that right after the escape...her son(bad duse) and one other, stoppped by for a change of clothes...orange jumpsuits are soooo passe. anyhow, the escapee kid, who is eight, told family members Dad had come for a visit. They ratted granny out. Hey....there was a reward...times are tough:smile:
