Jaguar Sadness

I just ran into a person with 14 Jaguars sitting in the back yard rotting away. Most of them run, but the sheet metal and interiors are in various states of disrepair.

They are all for sale, but at prices I deem to be out of line. I went with cash in hand and turned down buying 2 1967 420s @ $500 each. They are supposedly headed to the crusher soon.

The cars are located in NC. I have information and some photos if anyone is interested. Most of the cars are XJ6, XJ12, XJS, XJC and 3 420s plus a few other items. I am not associated with the owner in any way, but I hate to see Jags destroyed!!

I know a place in NJ the same. I am not even sure if the owner of the house/property is still there. Last time I went by, everything was overgrown. Sad. I was even wondering if I could just take them away not asking anyone. Obviously I could not but sure wanted to.

Hi Bruce I just realised you were talking about a different set of cars. It seems that NJ and MD are places where old cars just set and no one knows who they belong to. I have spent two years trying to rouse the owner of a Daimler 250 V8 setting in a lot in MD no body in the neighborhood knows anything about it except its been there for years.---Keoke /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cryin.gif
