Many years ago, maybe a dozen, I was unable to get the heater on my '62 3.8 MK2 to work. When Barrett put heater cores for that car on sale, I bought and installed one. Yeah, they were on sale. Subsequently a Forum member convinced me that my heater didn't work because it was incorrectly hooked up, likely by the Austin, TX, company that had done a mechanical rebuild on this car for the PO. So, with the heater working and the car with an owner in Maine, I still have the original stored in the box Barrett sent me the replacement. I don't know what Jags use this particular core, but here are the vitals. It is 9 3/4" in length, 3 5/16" deep, 6 1/4" high (7" if you measure to the top of the inlet or outlet pipes), and weighs about 4 lbs., 6 ozs. The critical and relatively delicate fins have no damage, only a few places where they could be tweaked into perfect alignment. I would gauge the unit's appearance as a 7 on a scale of 10, with a little orange copper visible here and there. One rubber grommet comes with it, along with the box. I want $25 plus shipping costs.
