Jaguar Heritage Certificate

I'm researching the background of my 73 XJ6. It was rumored to be originally owned by Barbara Sinatra. I'm signing up for a heritage certificate from Jaguar. I'm also trying to get DMV records.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Am I on the rite path?

Thanks
Patrick

try a CARFAX report for a detailed history of ownership, previous registrations, accidents if any, etc. My 1965 'S' type's first owner was also a famous artist: Eugenia (Gene) Baker, (1886-1984) a giant mural painter from North California. Her paintings are at the Oakland, San Francisco, and Monterey museums of art. The second owner was the man who sold it to her first, (he was her neighbor too) and then to me. He was one of the group of investors who put up money to import British cars to the West Coast after WW-2.

Great Idea Exotexs!

I had not even considered CARFAX. I guess I assumed it was to old.

Thanks
P

Hello,

My Heritage Certifacate came from the Jaguar archive today. Not quite what I expected. Not enough detailed build information.

Any clue to where I can get this kind of detail????

Thanks from PS
