Jaguar halts sales in Russia due to economic woes!

Most external vendors, such as Microsoft for example, are halting or restricting sales in Russia until things are resolved. Considering Russia, as best I can find, buys only about 5% of Jaguar Land Rover output I'm guessing it won't be a big impact since Asia and South America are the growth markets. And China is thought to be able to double overall sales in the next few years driving Jaguar Land Rover from around half a million to a million sold per year. So while I'm sure the book keepers notice the Russian sales loss, it will only be short term. More interesting might be if the Chinese realestate bubble pops and what happens to all the money they pump into their system and resultant sales if that happens.

Interesting fact, at only 5% you are correct the global impact as a whole could easily be made up in other areas!
