Hey guys. I don't know if this is legal so Basil, if not, please feel free to delete. My 1959 Jag MK1 is For Sale in the classified section. I have reduced the price. I'm loosing money as it is, however, I need to sell this wonderful old Jag. 170+ people have visited the ad but not one email has been generated as yet. This is no piece of junk Jag. Someone would really enjoy this ride. I'll even assist with the transportation from Washington State. So that's it. I will hold my breath. Please don't let me die!! Gotta link? I can't find it.

Nice car. I want one someday. Don't have that kind of money though.

But to everyone else who like MKI's, It looks like a good one!

It HAS to be on the other side of the country, doesn't it.

A month ago I sold a '67 rd. (only 'cause I had 2 for 20 years) and i've got to spend the money on another Jag toy before I use the money for something normal (like a roof on the house, no joke!). And I really like the Mk1, (already have a Mk2).

I have to do some serious thinking about this.

Phil

Dear Phil,
Goldendale, Washington is even far away from any town in Washington! I've got pictures, receipts and have had loads of fun with this MK1. Keep her in mind. And as to your roof...../ubbthreads/images/graemlins/nonono.gif

Yeah, roof's take second to getting another nice Jag!

(just trying to be helpful hehehehe)

I forgot how inconvenient it is to get to Goldendale from literally ANYWHERE in western WA. I think I have to go south to Portland and head east then back north to get near you!!! (Or drive right over Mt. St. Helens)

Looks like a nice car, but alas, I don't think the wife would go for it.

Any other photos? side view, interior, engine?

Holy Smoke. You must have a very, very understanding wife. My best to her. You have more cars than both used car dealers here in Goldendale!! Check out the following when you get time away from polishing one of those great automobiles you have.....cityofgoldendale.com.....See Ya

Tony,
First I sent some pictures. Then I looked at your web site and it's fabb-ewe-less! I have always been partial to the GT MG's for some reason. I don't think they ever had an automatic (I have no choice) but their lines are great. I love your collection and if I lived closer to Alabama I would stop in for coffee and donuts. Alas. That isn't going to happen soon but have a donut on me!!
Mark

Mark - got the photos...sent you an email...what's the long rod with a handle that's seen in the photo of the steering wheel/dash area?

Oh, thanks for kind words!

Oops..I forgot to tell everyone. Those "things" sticking out from the gas/brake pedal are a set of temporary hand controls for those of us in wheelchairs. They can be removed quickly and transfered from car to car. Neat deal.

Ya hey Sammy. The coupe looks outta place next to the roadsters and convertibles. What gives.

He's got a thing for steroidal VW's?

It was cheap?
