Jaeger Gauges

Hi,

I posted an ad on eBay listing a pair of Jaeger gauges (tach & speedo) for an Austin-Healey. I don't know much about the BJ8 gauges, can someone on the forum verify these are indeed BJ8 gauges? If not, I need to change the auction information pronto.

I thought BJ8 guages were Smith's.

That may very well be the case. The guy I'm selling them for said they came out of his Healey. Starting to appear the car was modified before he purchased it.

Hi Charlie,
Yeah those look different in a bunch of ways from my late BJ8 gauges. Here's a photo. I don't think the phase 1 BJ8's had different gauges, but I'm not sure.

I'm convinced they are not from a Healey so I changed the ad. Found it interesting Healey midgets used Jaeger gauges. Not sure what years etc, but I did see them advertised on eBay.

What you have on your eBay auction are not for the Ausin Healey.
