One of my favorite actors of all time. Always played a great bad guy.

Actually my wife’s dad is the splitting image of Palance. Put’em side by side & you’d swear they where brothers.

Jack Palance dies!

He will be missed. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Oh yea.. he was "Curley" in City Slickers... Sad. He definatly was a good actor (made an excellent bad guy)

As well as his movies, especially the early stuff like 'Shane', the 'Ripley's, Believe it or not' TV show was also made more memorable with his presence.

Wow that's too bad. I liked him in "Believe it ...or not" but then again I only knew of him in that role & never knew he was in other stuff until later on in my life.

Curley was a great role for him. Had a commanding presence even at 70 when he did “City Slickers”. Heck at 85 (or 87 depending on the source you believe) I bet he could’ve still kicked most people’s butts.

I hate to say it, but I thought he had already passed a few years ago. Great, now I get to go through mourning again.

A fine actor who could deliver a cold line the way that almost nobody else, save Clint Eastwood, could.

Saw him today in The Halls of Montezuma movie.I think he was listed as Walter Palance. He will be missed.

I loved him too. I think "Shane" was my favorite. And I loved seeing him do those 1 armed pushups when he was well into his 70s.
