Now we learn the front propshaft on Toyota 4WD trucks MAY fail causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle...

*sheesh*

I guess it's time for Chaos & Mayhem PTY., LTD to announce the wings of an A-380 Airbus MAY fold up in flight and cause a subsequent loss of control by the pilot.

...and there are some on the Toyota forums actually *ASKING* what a propshaft is...
wonder if they know how to check their oil.

...some just have to 'kick when they're down.....

Fortunately, only about 8000 Tacos nation wide involved in that issue. Problem is improper heat treating during manufacture, leads to possible stress cracks and eventual failure. gotta replace any Taco with the affected "heat code" on the front prop shaft.
I'll try and look at them in between pedal and brake recalls.... Actually got to do some "regular" work today. Probably cause I'm the only guy in the shop that works on sunroofs.(everybody else hates 'em) Tip: when in NY in February, don't try and open the sunroof. It's probably frozen solid.
Doc, You gonna visit Tinster?

Doc,

As Rosanna Rosanna Danna usta say "It's always something".

21Âş outside and 33Âş in the garage until I fire up the tube. It' a 120,000 btu heater that helps a bit when the garage get this cold.

If we had a salamander I'd be in high cotton. Garage would be at 95*!!!

...gotta find me a pair o' them bunny slippers now...

I'm up to about 45Âş. Tolerable once you are working. Cutting up a parts car for scrap does keep you moving enough to prevent the 'cicles from stickin' to yer face.

Just got back from Trinadad for work. landed here in Dallas this morning its 31 degress foggy and theres at least 4 inches of snow on the ground. So who moved dalles north while I was gone? just tilt me south and were not going to have find you. Holly smokes what a shock.

Doc, Thought you PENGUIN guys would be used to the cold.

I heard yesterday on the radio that 49 of the 50 states have snow on the ground. Guess which one does not?

In Charlotte Harbor... Th' one where th' song was inspired.
