I've been schooled...

Gotta say if I was picking out of a lineup the suspected photographer for the "local poetry festival" I'd throw out the guy in the cargo pants and pick the dude with the red skinny jeans tucked in his boots. No offense intended to the photographer in the cargo pants, I'm sure I prefer his work.

Na, ever notice photos wearing those vests with all the pockets? That's to carry gear/supplies in. can't carry crap in skinny jeans... I'd say the skinny jean guy was a poser...

"Ok, rule #1: don't wear skinny jeans.

Rule #2: if you do wear skinny jeans, don't tuck them into your boots.

Rule #3: if you do any of the above, don't tell Walt about it. :highly_amused:"

To be fair where I am from is a lot more rustic compared to where a lot of ya'll are from, and around here only 13 year old girls wear skinny jeans. So the idea of a full grown man in them seems a bit silly to me. Also you'll only see women tucking their jeans into boots, so again a full grown man doing that seems silly..

Oh, I know brother, believe me, I know...

Also add a cowboy hat or full-brim fedora to those cargo pants, maybe a fashion faux pas?

Might I suggest bib overalls, they are roomy, comfortable, and have handy pockets in the front.

I have been a semi pro photog since high school. Back in the day with film, darkroom, rodenal and fixer (love that smell)

In todays world, speed out performs quality in selling event images. I shot my daughters gymnastics meets and brought an Ipad with me. After each event I sucked the images off the card and onto the iPad and passed it around. I was a rock star.

I did some softball games that way and directed people to my site to order prints. It worked because they saw it...and wanted it.

The really good guys have a digital printer ON SITE. That's too much work for me....but I was at a game and this guy was set up that way. His pictures were bloody awful, but pictures of someones kid drives parents wallets regardless of quality...AND they could take the hard copy photo home with them. He sold hundreds.
