And for those of you that venture over, you might have noticed that I'm trying to find a better lighting solution for my gauges. So far, I've bypassed my dimmer, painted the inside of the cans, cleaned the glass, used 9.6V bulbs, put my headlight circuit on a relay, and cleaned all the pertinent connections. Of all that, the 9.6V bulbs made the greatest difference. However, I cannot find anymore of them (bought a bunch at a flea market) so I do not have an endless supply and they do not last very long. I really want to use some LED clusters. I found some that will fit with a little tweaking. Where am I going with this?... umm...oh...I remember. I need a deflector ring for my temperature/oil gauge. I'm referring to the little black ring that goes behind the glass. Does anyone have one that they are willing to part with?
