Blindsided by a virus, apparently. Started sneezin' an' barkin' yesterday, now have a head wot feels like a watermelon. It's goin' to me bronchs, too. I can feel it.

I hate bein' sick. blech.

I want COMFORT FOOD!!!

My mom always said, "Chicken Noodle Soup"! I hate chicken noodle soup! I wonder why. I think this has more of a psychological effect than anything. But then again, who knows? Moms ARE pretty smart you know.

Initially I thought you were talking about your computer...

Too bad your virus is not as easy to kill as the digital ones.

Good luck, get well soon...

Would that it were so...

AVAST! Be-gone, bug!!!

....didn't work... :frown:

Sorry to hear yer down, Doc.

We are still in Dengue season here. Do you have
Dengue skeeters where you live? If so, ya might
want to get yerself checked out by a medicine man.

Had the punies week before last - ran about 4-5 days.

Chicken soup with a rum/bourbon/your choice chaser.

Well, either that or Nyquil...

Doc: Simmer a fresh tomato in saucepan, add in three or four cloves of
garlic minced, cook a while then eat/drink. Garlic is nature's natural
antibiotic.

Umm, Umm good. Tomato soup.

Ughhh.. I'm just gettin over it. Lots of people sick round here. change of season, kids back at school..... All I know is I was the walkin dead last week. I still ain't 100%
Ginger Tea..... ahhhhh made with fresh chopped Ginger. Any Ginger.(Ginger Ale made with real Ginger) Good stuff. helps the chest and sinuses.
My uncle tried to convince me that Ginger Brandy would do it, but I Tend to try not to be sick or drunk, much less both.

Of the lot, I think I like James' suggestion best.

Hot toddies,Doc. That should help.

Very effective tactic

You want to make the inside part of your body as inhospitable as possible :yesnod:

I didn't think I had any pink spots left in me lungs the eevile critters could camp on, let alone live in *my* vascular system... must be a SuperBug.

I'm feelin' somewhat less than super about now, Stu.

Decided I want a HUGE batch of spicy-hot home made chili. Herself is bringin' home th' ingredients we don't have here now. I'm even gonna sacrifice a couple of my fresh Thai peppers.

Horsemits is cookin' it down as we speak. I'm now smellin' it as I sit here typin' and am astoundingly ravenous... wasn't hungry or even motivated to "forrage" before that smell started waftin' into th' garage.
