But it was a beautiful day!
One of my best friends was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year and after several tough months of chemo...we decided to honor her today by walking in the Race for the cure!
A friend offered the use of his limo to chauffeur us to the start line and pick us up at the finish.
Those friends whose health wouldn't allow them to walk with us gathered to cook a beautiful brunch and fun and friendship was enjoyed by all!
There were 45,000+ people there this morning all in support of friends and loved ones. It was a really great experience!
Our hats off to all of you whose wives, mothers, sisters and girlfriends have had to fight this disease!
