It's MONDAY!

Ed Norton would be proud.

Nothing better to do? Well, how 'bout some photos of the new house!

Been a while, hasn't it? Will take some later today and post.

Here's the latest on the house - getting close! Should be dried-in this week.

Thanks, Richard - yeah, and being right here to watch the progress has been fun, as well as a great learning experience. We're lucky to have some very competent craftsmen building this for us.

Plus, I'm collecting lots of leftover lumber to build benches and shelves for my garage!

Uh, any pictures of the garage?

Nothing to see yet, really. It's complete except for painting the outside, which will wait until the house is finished so we can pick a color that will go with the stain on the logs. Haven't taken any pictures since we haven't done any more to it, and it's full of some of our stuff. Not sure if I posted it before, but here's a shot of one of the corners which shows the pegboard arrangement. The back wall has the pegboard all the way across and the two side walls have pegboard to the windows like shown here. In addition to a bunch of our stuff in there, the two MG's are there now. When the house is done we'll move all the stuff, and I can coat the floor with whatever treatment I decide on, and build the workbench, install shelving, etc. Anyway, here's the picture of the inside I took a month or so ago, before we loaded it up with our stuff:

Those logs will become legs for the workbench and desk.

Looking good Mickey! One thing though, when it's all done and the grass is planted on that level lawn, you'll need to install a roll bar and seat belt on you mower! :highly_amused: PJ

You oughta see the BACK yard!

Get a couple goats. Lawn mowers ~and~ guard critters.

Guard critters? How 'bout bears? Got 'em!

Goats are just down the hill from us.

Go volunteer for the goats to be "babysat" for one week a month at your place!
