It's just plain out Durn hot!!!! 98F for the last two days,Tomorrow rumored to break 100, records being broken. predicted upper 80s low 90s all week. humidity high as well. This week's gonna be brutal. Lots of water/gatorade/iced tea/vitamin water/and all the fans I can plug in.
It sure had done a number on the skating rink surface too. no to mention the skiers are not happy. hehehehehehe.
Us northerners aint used to this.

It ain't cold here either. Thank heavens for a/c.

Spent the morning at the Greenwich concours, then spent the afternoon at a friends house - they have a pool and had cold vino on tap.

In weather like this that qualifies them as a very good friend

Well it went from 50s and 60s earlier this week to Insta-summer! so everybodys pools are still durn near frozen. By mid week all should be good. I had to go do a panic run for a new A/C unit on friday, after ours puked out at 3:45 am the day after I put it back in the window. Oh well. It was 9 years old. It had a good trouble free run. And we basically turned it on in June and let it run till September every year.

By midweek I'd be dead from heatstroke. I'm just glad I work in an office...

just to let you 2 know, they were snowboarding up at the passes this weekend. A bunch of new snow. Must be the coldest Junuary on record.
We're dying out here. Send it back to us!!

Chilly 82* just now, mid 90's for highs over the last week.

Yup Banjo,

Odd weather indeed. We were mid-80s all weekend with
a tremendous 5 inches of rain in three hours last night.
Mid-80's predicted for all week.

Stay cool!!

I have been running the Miata top-down almost every day for the last few weeks.

But Friday, after spending a large part of the day out in the hot sun ~Doing This~, I ran home with the top up and the air/con running full blast.

Saturday and Sunday we spent outside at two different neighborhood block parties, drinking lots of beer (we could walk home from both, so no bother).
Also, the sunny weather inspired me to buy my first tube of SPF 60 sun block this year.

This time of year, I tend to run the cars top down in the evening, but not during the day time.
