I know there is an MGB forum, but I spend 99% of my time here for my midget...the '78 MGB showed up! It's awesome! The clock works believe it or not! It even has the original manual, tools, etc. There is a letter in there from '78 talking about a recal for a safety issue. It's actually written with a typewriter...talk about dating myself!! In addition I found in the glove compartment:
12 packs of Splenda
20 toohpicks (wrapped)
12 pack of Ephedrine (one used)
an official document about a drug test for someone in reference to child custody
3 quarters
The remote control to the really nice upgraded CD/stereo system with amp in the trunk and new speakers

I was surprised to find the rocker panel/door sills had an aluminum plat with MG on it.

Also surprised the paperwork still had the 1000 mile service voucher intact and that the MG location was listed as Leonia, NJ ( I am from NJ ) so it
's a pretty sweet treat. Gotta sort out the tonneau covers and jacks and stuff...not a bad deal!

Very cool! I keep thinking that a MGB would make a nice companion to a Bugeye. But that breaks my one-at-a-time rule. So I'll live through folks like you. Enjoy!
