It's gettin' surreal now.

My condolences, Doc. Had not seen this when we spoke earlier. Uncle John, like my dad and uncle Bud, were part of the Greatest Generation and should not, nor ever will be, forgotten.
My thoughts are of you and your family at this time.
 
Sorry about your uncle, Doc. Uncles can be a big factor in close families. Mine were, and I miss them both.

Like someone said earlier, try to focus on all the good stuff around you, and get out and drive your LBC. Always works for me . . . :yesnod:

Doc, if I may, you never kow about the buttlet that missed you. I like to think in situations like this, that perhaps, this was the lesser of two evils. There are worse ways to go. I, like to think that maybe he was spared from something far worse. Please understand, I'm not attempting to make any sense out of this.
I'm just saying...you never know.
