according to TMZ flashing lights from the lighting director may have caused the fall which left him unconscious.

According to his account, Jimmy was walking along the edge of the stage when a “huge flash of light” made it difficult for him to see and caused him to fall.
should have stuck with Lucas lighting - would never have happened.
