I had my son in law look at the distributor on the GT6, and I had one wire out of place. He threw some gas into the throat of each carb and, after twenty five years just waiting around the darn thing fired up! All you guys talk about how temperamental these LBC'S are and just like that it starts. The forward carb promptly flooded and it stalled (no biggie) but.......IT'S ALIVE! Now I can put the body back on and maybe park my daily driver inside at night.

Congrats on the resurrection! Feels great, doesn't it?

That one single misplaced wire reminds me of -

“For lack of a nail, the shoe was lost;
for lack of a shoe, the horse was lost;
for lack of a horse, the rider was lost;
for lack of a rider, the kingdom was lost,
and all because of a three-penny nail."

That is great news. If only they would run with out wires.

(trying desperately to beat Doc from saying this ...)

But wasn't it the British who invented wireless?

No, it was Rudolf Diesel...

It was an Italian named Marconi, and the Italians still have not figured out how to properly utilize wires in vehicles.
