Put a new battery in my recently acquired S90 this morning, and all the lights and horn worked! So tonight after work I changed the oil (.9 liters) and put a bit of gas in the tank. After many kicks and a quick adjustment of the points, it fired up. Took a couple laps up the street, big smiles all around.

It's running poorly, won't idle, and the tires are horrible, but it runs! At least one of my fun vehicles are running -- Triumph's in for a brake leak, Tunebug is scattered about the country. This weekend will be tuneup time, then it's off to order some new tires and tubes and get it registered.

Oh, and my wife named it "Meep" after the silly horn sound.

Pretty close, Nial, pretty close!

Had some more fun yesterday, an got the bike running a bit better. Set the timing, cleaned the points, and cleaned out the carb. My issues are definitely fuel related. Will need to do a better carb clean, then eventually get the tank cleaned out and resealed.

Got it up to about 35 mph. Silly grin time.

Meep meep indeed!
