Nah, I'm out in the garage on a beautiful day, working on both the Spitfire and the Jag and listening to streaming radio over the internet. Got the lap top out here to keep tabs on the world while I play with my toys. Life is good.
 
18 holes of golf this morning, followed by the ongoing garage clean out of the old home and then a snooze on the deck in what was actually called sunshine today. All in all, not a bad day. One of these days I might actually get the TR6 started and take it for a ride.
 
For sale , one yellow TR6. Loved ,but forgotten.
 
...and very productive..peach,blueberry, blackberry and pepper jelly (For the crowder peas I shelled last night) ....I love summertime!

Flew an hour this morning and an hour this afternoon - yesterday too - trying to noodle out some high oil temp issues. My folks are in the mountains of NC where it has apparently been nice and cool (sounds like I'm beating my dead horse but... wait for it). My mom called me and said "you were right, it's beautiful here and the air is wonderful, we want to move".

Meanwhile I've been struggling with an insatiable urge to put glue in my ear. Weird.

Airplane. Cessna 152. I'm pretty sure it's a bad oil temp sender or gauge. As particular as they are about some things, the temp gauge is about as close to an idiot-light as you can get and about as unreliable too. It's basically just a volt-meter, if the voltage regulator is cranked up too much it'll indicate high oil temp. It was originally manufactured as a 12v instrument, to run on 24v they added a resistor to the back of the gauge - but if that resistor starts to break down it'll read high. Dumb!

Not forgotten, just not a priority with the other things that I'm doing. It's there whenever I get the urge to do something. I will have it ready for the "Day of Triumph" with the BMCNE, NE Triumph & Cape Cod Clubs at the end of July. Always a good day at the Larz Museum and my buddy Al (Trick6) will be there as always. Maybe even BobbyD and Bill will go this year.
