Its a 1978 and I want it.

Where are you planning on packing all the batteries? That is going to be a great deal of weight. I would think you would want them as close to the motor as possible to minimize the length of the cables.
I've seen a midget auctioned a couple of cycles on eBay that was electric powered. Can't remember exactly how they had it setup.

I got to give it some thought before I start anything. If you run big enough wire you can have the batteries in the back from the motor or whatever. I am going to get the trailer tomorrow and the the midget tomorrow or the next day. Just a big pile of stuff inside a midget tub. Who knows, I might just part it out. I know the diff is a popular one. One that I might actually need if the 3.55 doesn't fit my expectations.

If the 3.55 or the 3.7 doesn't suit your fancy. Give us first dibs here on the forum before you toss it to the eBay wolves. Either one of those could fund a significant portion of your trip to Mo.

I definitely will do that. I am not sure is I will have made any real decisions before the MO trip though, but when I do decide, it should help pay off that portion on the charge card. I will do that with any parts I am going to sell. I will make sure they are checked over and in good shape and then let eveyone know. I still have a rivergate adapter plate that I might sell and a Ribcase tran that I have went through and put a new cluster gear in and then only drove for one summer, so I know its a good one.
