It's 72 F at noon here and I put the top down.

WooHoo, a great sunny day in the Pacific NW.

Any other Spridget owners in the NW area today?
Go topless & drive! Man that's nice!
OK - I only drove up to the Post office & back.
I did take the long way home... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I can't drive mine because my wife is out of town and I have nobody to watch the children. Maybe I'll set a big fan in front of it and pretend. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Yes, just close your eyes and imagine it... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Nope - doesn't work for me and there is a fan blowing in my face at this moment.

Just as well,
Tonight after the kids are in bed I'm going to change the engine/tranny/and diff oil.
My diff whine is getting loud again, so it is time for some fresh Lucas Gear Oil.

No driving here, with the radiator and gas tank on the floor awaiting reinstallation and the master cylinder in CA for resleeving. I did mow the lawn though... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

That's the only way IMHO.
Good deal!

84* and no running motor for me /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cryin.gif

I feel your pain, Barry. Supposed to hit 80* by Thursday. Tunebug is non-driving for probably some months. Oh well, I can always go for a walk...

Ahhh.. Nice day.

My nine year old son & I drove off together to get a few things at the store. Not too turned on by the first store's selection I said - "hey lets drive over to the other store".
With a positive look from him we went ahead and got back in the car. I always get at least one positive remark from the public whenever we are out, today was no exception.
People in their SUV's with their $600 - $750 / month payments looking with a wistful eye as we go driving by or pulling up.
Someone always has something nice to say.
My son really liked the drive, and the positive attention from the public.

A good day!

Same here down in Oregon. I definitely took the long way to work yesterday and probably again today!

I pull up on the right hand side of some Suburban or Excursion or whatever, and look horizontally across, and minutely examine the alloy wheels and disk brakes, I can almost reach out and check his tyre pressures if needed. I like to see the owner crane his neck up to look down and see what it is next to him.

I guess I shouldn't crow because I own an Expedition too.

Another cool thing is, I have realized I am double-declutching instinctively, just like I always used to, even though it is nearly 10 years since I owned a car with a manual gearbox, and nearly 30 years since I owned one that needed double declutching.

ncbugeye has a rather "aggressive" exhaust note so people can hear me coming from quite some distance away.
