TR2/3/3A Item bolted to intake manifold, TR3A "60

As I was cleaning my intake manifold I found a small steel item bolted to the rear carb mounting position. I did due diligence to figure out what it does but still have no clue. It has a post on it with a small hole. Looks like a spring anchor. The mounting hole is on the rear right position. I need some help on this one. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
Thanks, Tinkerman

I just took the carbs off my manifold today, and didn't see anything like what you are talking about. Mines a '58, so it may be different. You need to post a pic. You can do that by checking the "I want to preview my post and/or attach a file" box below the graemlins when you are posting. After you hit the continue button, your post will come up and then you can add an attachment. Be careful, if the file is too big, it will reject it. Just make it smaller.

I took a pic of what you might be talking about, but it is on the front of the intake manifold. Let me know if anything looks familiar.

See attachment.

That's part of the throttle linkage

Yep Russ hit the nail on the head. It now makes sense to me.

Thanks all, Tinkerman
