Introducing myself to the forum. I am restoring a Triumph Italia, a TR3 based Italian built auto. I have worked on it for years, mostly all body work. Now, into the engine. So have been searching stuff on this site. Will likely be posting up some questions.

I am in my 60's, live in Tennessee, and owned this car since 1985. It is my only project car. But way too many other projects and hobbies that keep me from spending the time I would like to on this project.

You have a lovely car in the Italia. I have only seen a few, and always found them quite appealing. Thanks for adding the photos, and be sure to visit the wonderful folks at the Triumph forum who are more than capable of answering nearly any question about these machines. Be sure to post photos of your progress.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

The TR3 motors are relatively simple to work on but do have a few tricks. Lots of help here on the motor.

Is that the outlines of the TR4 in the Italia or was the design by the same guy?

Welcome. My friend Jamie owns an Itialia though I don't think he's had it on the road in over a decade. Lovely cars.
