Hoo boy... I knew that comment would get twisted, I just had no idea what else it would spur. hahahahahaha!
Poor doggie this AM, for his morning "break time" it was -13deg F. Within a minute or two of going out he was dancing, trying to keep his paws off the snow. Neighbor kid knocked the head off the snowman in the front yard, and to appease the dot I set it back on (personally I didn't much care, that's the usual fate of a snowman). It made a noise like rubbing two pieces of broken pottery together!!! I don't know how he managed to break it off!
Had to put the charger on the truck this morning to get it to start! yikes!
Is it spring yet?!

And I worry over a heavy rain. sheesh.

EEEEEWWW... that's no good. Glad to hear damage was minimal. Sorry bout that.
 
My fault really. I should have paid more attention to the snow load. Its a drive out to where the shed is/was located and I got lazy. The damage could have been a lot worse. I had re-enforced the top of the shed with 2xs4's a year ago. Never thought about the load on the down pipes.

one 2x4 was laying across the trunk lid. Missed the tailights by an inch. One was across the top and was bowwed under heavey tention. Luckily I had rolled the pass side window down a few inches. No damage. Another 2x4 came down just in front of the windshield. Again, no damage.

As the tent colapsed it shoved a table sideways so that a corner of the table was actually inside the car. The window on that side of the car had been left all the way down. No damage.

I had left the bonnet up to help deter mice, and there was the rub. One of 2x4's came down right on the upright edge of the bonnet, bending it sideways. The ridgepole then crushed the right side fender beyond repair.

I found some pieces for sale in Minneapolis. Bonnet/Valance, engine, trans, and misc bits. Picked them up Saturday and began stripping the bonnet today. Told the seller about the site and he joined that same day.

All in all it could have been a lot worse, and now I have something to keep me out of trouble again.
