With the folks doing Triumphfest having moved the venue to the far end of our state (San Diego) the local 4 Triumphs
(55 TR2, 59 3A, 60 3A, 62 3B) decided to have a 3 day weekend run together. We stayed on all real small 2 lane roads and ended up running over 500 miles...drove thru some of the Sonoma Wine Country as the grapes were harvested...over to the coast and the house on the bluffs overlooking the Pacific.
Saturday it was down Highway 1 thru Marin County...up and over Mount Tam with monster views of the SF bay. Extra for the day was the Blue Angels were there for Fleet Week! Sunday it was back up Highway 1 and home to Mendocino County.
Missed all the cars and folks at Triumphest...but we had a lot
of fun anyway. And...all 4 cars never missed a beat...just like the old Timex watch....just kept on ticking!
A side note...we had rented a house with a 2 car garage. How could we decide which 2 cars got to stay inside...and which w stayed outside? Well...much to the amazement of the neighbors we fit ALL 4 cars in the garage! That was a kick!

That is so COOL!

Congrats on turning a lemon into lemonade. Personally, a long drive with friends beats a static car-show anytime.

Any pictures of your run ... or that "four car" garage?

Hey Gil!
We too opted out for triumphfest. We must have missed you at the Blue Angels. Were there Saturday for the show then to Mill Valley area for dinner. Would have been cool to have seen your caravan!
